Brooke Robertson – Myotherapist / Personal Trainer
Brooke graduated from the Australian College of Sports Therapy in 2011 with an Advanced Diploma of Sports Therapy and Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. Since graduating, Brooke has been working primarily in the health and fitness industry. In 2011- 2012 she worked for the North Melbourne Football club as a Soft Tissue Therapist, and in 2012 at Waverley Central Chiropractic Clinic in Glen Waverley as a Myotherapist and Remedial Massage therapist. Brooke has enjoyed working with a variety of clientele; treating people with no fitness base to high level athletes. Brooke has a particular interest in sports injury therapy and general body conditioning, which is why she strongly believes in exercise based therapy. Brooke utilises her qualification as a personal trainer to train clients at Goodlife Health Club Glen Iris. She is passionate about ensuring her clients are provided with the highest level of care, focussing on personal training, nutritional guidance or musculoskeletal injury treatment.
Brooke has a passion for exercise. She understands how frustrating it can be for an injury to prevent you from being active and achieving your goals, therefore strives to get you back on track as soon as possible. Brooke works closely with each of her clients and is highly skilled in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries. She tailors each treatment session to the individual needs, using techniques such as joint mobilisation, exercise prescription, deep-tissue massage and dry needling.
During 2013 Brooke travelled throughout Europe and America. She loved experiencing the cultures of all the different countries and would like to explore more of the world in the future.
When Brooke isn’t working she likes to be active on the netball court and during summer she loves heading to the beach or river to cool down. Brooke also loves catching up with friends and family and taking her beagle Molly for a brisk walk.
Brooke is available for consultations Monday’s Wednesday’s Thursday’s and Friday.
