Dr Chris Devenish – Osteopath
Being an active individual, and no stranger to an injury, Chris was able to experience first hand the various forms of treatment options available for his sporting injuries, always responding best to Osteopathy. This led to Chris being mentored from an early age by his local Osteopath after developing a keen interest in the health and medical profession. Ever since his first osteopathic visit Chris has been a regular client having everything treated from post operative rehabilitation to muscle strains and everything in between.
Chris completed his 5 year Osteopathic master’s degree at Victoria University. While also holding a three-year Human Movement degree and certificate III and IV in fitness. As an osteopath he prides himself on his diagnostic and manual therapy skills. Chris has a passion for physical preparation, injury prevention, strength & conditioning and rehabilitation. And thus, combines these skills to best prepare his patients with their exercise endeavours.
His passion for learning about the way in which the body moves, and his in-depth knowledge of body mechanics allows Chris to provide the most appropriate, and long lasting solutions to his patients problems.
Always wanting to learn more Chris has completed various other courses since graduating from his Masters Degree.

During his professional Osteopathic career Chris has worked with various professional athletes both nationally and Internationally:

- Ladies Professional Golf Association
He has lectured at the Australian Institute of Fitness as well as working at various Osteopathic practices around Melbourne and Brisbane.
When you cant find Chris in the treatment room, he will be playing with his little niece and nephew or working on his golf swing!
