Dr. Matthew Olsen

Osteopath | B.Sc (clin) M.HSc (osteo)

Growing up in Canterbury and playing football for St Kevin’s Old Boys, Matt holds a strong appreciation for the area. Matt’s passion for osteopathy stemmed from his sporting history and constant exposure to injury rehabilitation. Matt is a graduate of RMIT University, completing a 5-year double degree.

  • Outside of the clinic Matt enjoys the coastal life, spending time surfing or searching for his ball on the golf course.
  • Matt’s claim to fame is his previous appearance in a McCain’s TV commercial.
  • Matt enjoys staying fit by regularly visiting his local gym and running the tracks at Faulkner Park, Albert Park, and the Tan.

Matt has experience managing a variety of patients with chronic lower back and neck conditions from his time at the RMIT Health Clinic.

He holds a strong interest in treating:

  • Shoulder pain
  • Hip pain
  • Chronic pain

Working in a small team allows me to build strong connections with both my colleagues and the local community. I value the opportunity to engage with my patients and everyone who walks through the door.

Dr. Sarah Duldig

Osteopath | B.App.Sc (Osteo) M.H.Sc

  • Graduated from RMIT University in – completing a double degree in Applied Science (Osteopathy) & Health Science.
  • Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Health Science (Majoring in Exercise Science & Sport Coaching) from Deakin University.
  • Sports Trainer & Massage Therapist at St Kilda Football Club (AFL)
  • Worked for various sporting clubs: including the Casey Scorpions (VFL), Carlton Football Club (AFL), St Mary Salesian Amateur Football Club and Malvern Academy of Swimming (coach).

  • Sarah is a Malvern/Glen Iris girl through and through. Having lived most of her life in and around the streets of Glen Iris, she is no stranger to Central Park, Harold Holt Swim Centre and the Gardiners Creek walking Trail.
  • Outside of the clinic you will most likely find her enjoying a coffee at a local cafe, engaging in a pilates class, cheering her beloved Saints or finding the next best destination to travel!

Having worked with various sporting clubs, Sarah has a passion for hands-on treatment in conjunction with Exercise and Rehabilitation. She is extremely confident in treating all areas of the body.
This being said, she does have a special interest in treating:

  • Low Back & Neck pain
  • Hip pain
  • Women’s Health
  • Wrist & Elbow Pain
  • Sporting Injuries

Growing up in Glen Iris, it just felt like the right progression, to work in the area I have grown up in. I love the idea that I now get to help the locals of Malvern and Glen Iris with their health and wellness goals. Just another way I can further positively impact those in the local community.

Dr. Kieren Jamieson

Osteopath | B.Sc (clin) M.HSc (osteo)

Having grown up in Bright, Victoria, Kieren is a country boy just trying to make it in the big smoke.
  • Kieren has worked in the inner city, up in Bright and in regional Queensland. He has experience in treating patients ranging from corporate desk workers to underground coal miners to dairy farmers, and everyone in between.
  • Kieren completed his 5 year double degree at Victoria University.
  • Kieren has developed a keen interest in treating persistent pain, and is fascinated by the complexity of pain.

  • Bachelor Clinical Science (Osteopathy)
  • Masters Heath Science (Osteopathy)
  • (Currently Completing) Master’s Science in Medicine (Pain Management)
  • Certificate Functional and Therapeutic Breathwork
  • Radial Shockwave Therapy
  • When Kieren isn’t in the clinic, you’ll find him in a cafe, drinking good coffee, doing the crossword or trivia, or at the dog park.
  • Kieren values his own fitness, and loves distance running and playing football, cricket and golf.
  • Kieren will talk forever about dogs, he has two of his own, a french bulldog named Daphne and a Great Dane named Walter.
  • Kieren is an identical twin, and is one of five boys!
Kieren currently plays Premier Cricket for Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club and Football for his home town of Bright. This has given him a personal insight into many lower limb, low back and shoulder injuries. Not to mention the love of long distance running. He has competed in both 1/2 and full marathon’s. Kieren is particularly interested in:
  • Low back pain
  • Persistent/Chronic Pain
  • Lower limb injuries (hip, knee, ankle)
  • Running injuries (calves, hamstrings, achilles, feet)
  • Sporting Injuries
  • Headaches/neck pain

Dr. Gary Israelsohn

Osteopath | B.App.Sc (Cli.Sc.). B.Sc.(Osteo)

  • Graduated from RMIT University in 2003 – completing a double degree in Applied Science and Osteopathic Science.
  • lecturing at both RMIT and Victoria Universities in the Osteopathic departments.
  • Worked for various touring sporting teams including; the New Zealand All Blacks during the 2003 Rugby World Cup, International Irish AFL team and the South African Southern Kings Super Rugby side. As well as working closely with various local AFL and State league hockey teams.

  • Bachelor Osteopathic Science (Osteopathy) – RMIT University B.Sc (Osteo)
  • Bachelor Applied Sciences (Osteopathy) – RMIT University B.App.Sc. (Clin. Sc)
  • Dry Needling

  • Gary was born in South Africa (apparently loosing his accent on the plane ride over) and grew up on the beaches of Durban and Cape Town.
  • Outside of the clinic you will most likely find Gary with his wife and two daughters exploring one of Glen Iris or Malvern’s many cafes or parks.
  • He also enjoys hitting the slopes of Mt. Buller or Hotham – when the time and conditions allow for it.

With 15 years experience in private practice, Gary has seen a vast number of conditions and injuries and is extremely confident in treating all areas of the body.

This being said, he does have a special interest in treating

  • Headaches
  • Back and neck pain.
  • Lower back and hip pain.

In the last few years, he has really enjoyed working with clients with long term tendon injuries that have failed to respond to other conservative treatment approaches. A combination of Osteopathic hands on treatment in conjunction with Shockwave Therapy has seen his clients once again be able to enjoy an active lifestyle, pain free.

I love the idea of living and working in the same area. It allows me the opportunity to really get to know the local community and engage both as a professional as well as local resident. Walking to work is an added bonus, I don’t have to fight Melbourne’s traffic either!!
