Finding an Osteopath Near You

Osteopath Near Me

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that aims to help reduce your pain and restore your body’s natural balance. When you are in pain, you are not functioning at 100%. This leads to irritation and frustration, not to mention stopping you from doing the things you love to do.EQUILIBRIUM FINAL 25 1 Equilibrium Sports and Spinal Clinic

The key principles of Osteopathy are based on all parts of the body functioning together in an integrated manner. If one part of the body is restricted, then the rest of the body must adapt. This compensation may eventually lead to inflammation, pain, stiffness, and other health conditions.

It is vital to find an Osteopath that understands this connection. Is able to identify the root causes of your condition. But most importantly explain in language you understand what’s going on.

-Specific spinal manipulation is only 1 of a vast array of treatment techniques we use. If you are not comfortable with this, we can achieve the same results without using this technique. Your health and safety is always the highest of our priorities

Does Osteopathy Hurt?

We understand you are in pain. So the last thing we want is to exacerbate this. You may feel a little bruised or tender after the session. But most people are fine to return to their normal work life or caregiving after an Osteopathy session.
